Bus connections along the Violet Line

The Violet Line has excellent bus connectivity. At Kashmere Gate, ISBT provides interstate bus services and dozens of DTC routes. ITO and Central Secretariat are major bus hubs connecting to all parts of Delhi. Nehru Place terminal is one of the busiest DTC depots in South Delhi. Travel tips

If you're travelling from Old Delhi to Faridabad, the Violet Line is your best bet — it's a single, direct journey without any interchange needed. For Khan Market, exit at Khan Market station (not Central Secretariat). The Faridabad section can get very crowded during morning and evening rush hours. If you need to reach Noida from the Violet Line, interchange at Mandi House to the Blue Line.
