Delhi Metro
The Blue Line is the longest corridor of the Delhi Metro at 56.6 km with over 50 stations. It has two branches — the main line from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida Electronic City, and a branch from Yamuna Bank to Vaishali. It connects West Delhi (Dwarka, Janakpuri) to East Delhi (Laxmi Nagar, Anand Vihar) and into Noida and Ghaziabad.

Timetable & frequency
First trains depart at 5:00 AM from both terminals. Last trains around 11:30 PM. Peak frequency is 3–4 minutes on the main branch. The Vaishali branch has slightly lower frequency.

Areas & landmarks served
The Blue Line connects West Delhi's Dwarka residential township (with its planned sectors and wide roads) through the commercial hubs of Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden, and Karol Bagh, past Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk), across the Yamuna into East Delhi's Laxmi Nagar and Preet Vihar, and onward into Noida's IT corridor (Sectors 15, 16, 18, 62) and Vaishali in Ghaziabad. It serves the highest diversity of neighbourhoods of any Delhi Metro line.
Bus connections along the Blue Line
Dwarka Sector 21 connects to airport buses and Gurugram services. Janakpuri and Rajouri Garden are major bus interchange points for West Delhi. Anand Vihar ISBT provides interstate services to UP and Uttarakhand. Noida Sector 18 and Botanical Garden connect to Noida city buses. Vaishali connects to Ghaziabad city services and shared autos to Indirapuram.
Travel tips
Pay attention to the branch split at Yamuna Bank — trains alternate between the Noida branch and the Vaishali branch. Check the electronic display on the platform for the destination. If you accidentally board the wrong branch, get off at Yamuna Bank and wait for the next train. The section between Rajiv Chowk and Yamuna Bank is extremely crowded during peak hours.
