Delhi Metro operates on all Sundays and national holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, etc.).
Key differences on Sundays/holidays:
- • The Pink and Grey lines start at 7:00 AM and the Magenta Line at 6:50 AM
- • Train frequency is reduced — expect 4–11 minutes between trains
- • Last train timings are unchanged (10:40–11:40 PM depending on the line)
- • On special occasions (New Year, Diwali), services may be extended beyond midnight

Smart Card and MJQRT (Multiple Journey QR Ticket) users get a 20% discount during off-peak hours on weekdays:
